Installation instructions for the Mitsubishi Montero
- Locate and remove two vertical Phillips screws above the display panel. With Dash Trim Tool (#SIT-104), locate and release six (6) clips that secure the trim bezel. Remove bezel and disconnect emergency flasher wiring harness from the back of the bezel. Set bezel aside carefully.
- Locate and remove the two (2) screws from the right side of the radio. Set screws aside in safe place. Place smaller part “A” over the original screw holes as shown in top picture and replace factory screws.
- Connect emergency flasher wiring harness and reinstall dash bezel making sure all six (6) clips are secure. Replace the two (2) factory screws and control knobs. Once bezel is completely secure, connect larger part “B” to smaller part “A”. Use hole pattern (3) for the Mitsubish Montero.
- Use the two (2) provided cap nuts and tighten part “B” to part “A” with a 5/16” open end wrench.Install any Bracketron phone holder or Amps compatible device to your Bezel Mount. Your installation is complete.

Installation instructions for Mitsubishi Galant
- Use the Dash Trim Tool (Part #SIT-104) to remove the main dash bezel. Start in the lower right corner of the dash bezel and release a clip. - Continue by releasing three (3) more clips in each corner of this bezel. Set this bezel aside carefully.
- Locate and remove the two (2) screws from the right side of the climate control. Set screws aside in safe place. Place smaller part “A” over the original screw holes as shown in bottom center picture and replace factory screws.
- Reinstall dash in reverse order securing all clips. Once bezel is completely secure, connect larger part “B” to smaller part “A”. Use hole pattern (3) for the Mitsubish Galant. Use the two (2) provided cap nuts and tighten part “B” to part “A” with a 5/16” open end wrench.Install any Bracketron phone holder or Amps compatible device to your Bezel Mount. Your installation is complete.
