04-05 Nissan Titan/Armada 5.6L Air Intake System Installation Instructions

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable, then, loosen the hose clamp on the factory intake tube. Disconnect the electrical connector from the Mass Air Sensor and unclip the wiring from the air box lid.
2. Unclip the factory air box lid from the base and remove from engine compartment. Remove original flat panel filter.
3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the Mass Air Sensor from the air box lid. Retain sensor for later use.
4. Remove the factory air box base from the vehicle. Unsnap and remove the factory tube from inside the air box as shown in picture. Re-install factory air box base on vehicle with out the tube.
5. Assemble the Airaid Cool Air Dam using the #6 hardware provided. Install the plastic air filter adaptor using the ž-20 bolts and washers provided.
6. Install the factory Mass Air Sensor in the Airaid air filter adaptor using the 10-32 screws provided.
7. Remove the clip from the factory air box lid and install it in the Airaid Cool Air Dam as shown above.
8. Install the Airaid Cool Air Dam assembly on the factory air box base using factory clips. Tighten factory hose clamp.
9. Install the connector on the Mass Air Sensor and mount the factory wire harness clip in the Airaid Cool Air Dam panel.
10. Install the Airaid filter and tighten hose clamp.
11. Install the supplied weather strip on Cool Air Dam. (Note: Start at one corner and work your way around to the ends to insure proper placement.)
12. Double check your work to be certain that all nuts, bolts, and clamps are securely fastened.
13. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
