STEP 1. Begin by opening the armrest door. Using the Phillips screw-driver, locate and remove two (2) Phillips screws inside and toward the back of the armrest storage compartment. Set screws aside. Just in front of the armrest locate a small plastic cap. Using the small flat screw-driver carefully pry cap loose exposing two (2) Phillips screws. Remove screws and set them aside. Remove the armrest and set it aside.
STEP 2. On the passenger side, directly below the glove compartment and toward the firewall, locate a small round plastic cap. Grasp the cap and pull out to remove. Set cap aside. Locate another larger round cap on the right side of the center console. Grasp cap and pull toward you to remove. Behind that cap, locate and remove a Phillips screw holding the fabric side panel of the center console in place. Set screw aside. Grasp the top of the side panel and carefully pull toward you removing it from the center console.
STEP 3. Locate an electronic module bolted to the side of the center console metal frame. Remove the two (2) Phillips screws holding the module in place. Note: Place the two (2) factory screws in the glove box and notify the customer of their whereabouts as these screws will be replaced by Pro.Fit provided bolts. Remove a Phillips screw located below the module and toward the passenger seat which secures the center console frame. This screw inserts vertically. Set screw aside. Locate a plastic tab that is to the left of the electronic module and vertical screw you just removed. Using a side cutter style pliers, snip the very top of this tab to remove it. This will allow the Pro.Fit VSMTM to install properly.
STEP 4. Position the Pro.Fit VSMTM over the electronic module, aligning screw holes. Insert the provided screws and tighten with the 8mm socket and driver. Replace the vertical Phillips screw and tighten. Install the phone holder onto the Pro.Fit VSMTM. Re-assemble the dash in reverse order securing all clips and screws.
