All instructions assume a drivers seat vantage point. Caution is advised when removing and reassembling wood or plastic parts of a dash. Applying unnecessary force or pressure may cause a piece to crack or break.
TOOLS REQUIRED: Small flat screw driver, #2 Phillips screwdriver, hook tool, 5/64” drill bit, and drill, marking pen
STEP 1.
Begin by opening center console storage compartment door. Remove inner storage compartment box by releasing clips located on each side. To do this, insert small flat screw driver in between box and padded molding on center console unit. Release one side at a time. Lift unit out and set aside.
STEP 2.
Locate and remove two (2) Phillips screws in the trim bezel surrounding emergency brake handle. Set screws aside. Release fabric cover for emergency brake. Pull trim panel out of way. Remove two (2) Phillips screws at the bottom of trim panel surrounding entire radio and shifter area. Set screws aside. Insert the hook tool behind the upper right corner of the bezel that surrounds the radio. Pull toward you to release top right clip. Perform this same action in the upper left corner of the bezel. Let the bezel hang to the left side of the center console. Do not remove any wiring to the bezel.
STEP 3.
Install the phone holder onto the Pro.Fit VSMTM. Place Pro.Fit VSMTM to right of radio. With marking pen, mark two spots for pilot holes using the holes in the Pro.Fit VSMTM as a guide. Drill two (2) pilot holes using the 5/64” drill bit and drill. Insert and tighten the two (2) 8×3/8” screws provided.
STEP 4.
Re-install the dash in reverse order securing all screws and clips.
This completes the installation of your Pro.Fit VSMTM.
