STEP 1. Begin by inserting hook tool at very back of trim panel surrounding gear shift selector. Release two (2) clips at the rear and continue towards front of panel to release two (2) more clips. CAUTION! These parts are plastic and this panel comes out extremely hard.

STEP 2. Remove ashtray by removing screw on left of ashtray with Phillips screwdriver. Release two (2) clips located behind ashtray near right side. Clips are extremely tight to remove. Pull out on the frame of ashtray, moving it side to side to remove.

STEP 3. The top section contains two (2) air conditioning vents, hazard switch, rear defroster switch, and clock. Working on the top section, place hook tool in between dash panel and trim panel at lower left. Pull clip to release. Repeat in other corners. Pivot the top section assembly toward windshield. Set on dash. The center section contains the climate control, radio, CD player, and/or cubby hole. Working on center section, remove two (2) factory Phillips screws located at the top. Remove two (2) Phillips factory screws on bottom. Place protective towel over center console in front of shifter. Slide entire center section out, and place on towel.

STEP 4. On the right side of this unit, locate eight (8) factory screws along the inside of mounting metal frame that hold the radio/CD player and/or cubby hole. Looking at front set of four (4) factory screws,(closest to face plate on center section) use the lower two (2) screw holes. Remove these two (2) factory screws . Install hang-up cup onto Pro.Fit VSMTM. When installing mount on vehicles with combination AM/FM cassette/CD player, use the M5×12 Metric cap screw in the top hole of the Pro.Fit VSMTM and use only one (1) #10×5/8” screw in the lower hole. When installing mount in vehicles without the above system, use two (2) #10×5/8” screws. Attach Pro.Fit VSMTM to side of this center panel bracket. Reinstall dash assembly, working backward through instructions.
