Get ready to install the kit.
1. Remove the shift transfer case shift linkage.
a. If present on your vehicle, remove four bolts and skid plate from the frame under the transmission and transfer case.
b. Remove two rubber bushings and transfer case shift linkage from shift lever and transfer case.
2. Remove the front bumper.
a. Remove nine panel clips, plastic cover, and rubber cover from the core support.
b. If present on your vehicle, disconnect two wire harness connectors from the driving lights.
c. Remove four nuts, bolts, and two front bumper outer brackets from the frame.
d. Remove four bolts and front bumper from two frame inner mounts
3. Remove the rear bumper.
a. Disconnect two wire harness connectors from the license plate lights.
b. Remove six nuts and rear bumper from the frame.
4. Remove the fan shroud.
a. Drain the radiator into a clean pan (refer to the owner’s manual).
b. Remove four wire harness clips and wire harness from the core support.
c. Disconnect two connectors and washer fluid hose from the fan shroud.
d. Remove four bolts and the fan from the water pump and allow fan to rest inside the shroud.
e. Remove four bolts and fan shroud from the radiator and allow shroud to rest against the engine.
f. Remove fan shroud and fan from the vehicle and separate upper fan shroud from lower fan shroud.
h. Cut the lip from the lower fan shroud as shown.
