The Skyline 350 GT has received widespread acclaim in Japan and recently won Performance Coupe of the year 2004 in the United States, where it is marketted as the Infinity G35 Coupe. The complete package offered by this car is superb. Styling and equipment are completely up to date, with a sleek new shape that has similarities in styling to the likes of Aston Martin’s muscular looking rear quarters, yet Nissan hasn’t tried to copy other manufacturers, but instead has boldly changed to a completely new shape - distant from the older R32-34 Skylines. So the G35 Coupe was shaped smooth. Air was channeled over, under, and through the car until the coefficient of drag was reduced to a mere 0.29 Cd. The result looks right from every angle, with a particularly attractive roofline too. Yes despite the cool styling this is a genuinely comfortable 4 seater with very high levels of specification. Comfort and prestige are part of the package to the smallest detail.

Equipment: Lights are HID for main beam with auto ON/OFF. The sidelights and indicators are integrated within the front light cluster. As standard the rear lights are LED type too. Attention to detail is excellent. Open the pilarless doors and the glass drops around 1cm. As you close it - the sound is much like what you’d hear closing the door of a car 3 times the price. Solid Quality. The leather / alcantara driver’s seat has 6 way electrical adjustability. Passenger seat is also electrically adjustable. If there are rear passengers, the seats will slide forward electrically to let them in and the back seats are also bucket style with a storage area on the middle. Behind the front passenger seat is a handle which operates the seat slider too - to allow an easy exit. Thoughtful little detail, but it shows how much care has been taken in this car’s design.. Audio consists of a Bose® premium audio system with AM/FM and in-dash, single-slot 6-disc CD autochanger with MP3 playback capability, and eight speakers. There’s a retractable 7″ colour LCD screen complete with a DVD database navigation & TV system. This can be converted to work in the UK, through a specialist company in Derby. The rear view mirror automatically adjusts for anti-glare. A Power tilt and telescoping steering wheel is fitted, complete with remote controls within easy reach - for the sound system. Aside from the usual 4 channel ABS and VDC systems, safety is provided by active headrests with side curtain & side SRS airbags in each front seat, as well as front SRS airbags. An alarm and immobiliser are factory fitted - complete with remote central locking. All windows are tinted, with the rear quarter lights and aft being privacy glass. On this example the fitted mats front & rear are specially tailored sports items. The pedals are alloy drilled items too. The door mirrors are of course also electrically operated with retract mode. Air conditioning has Dual-zone Automatic Temperature Control, enabling the front occupants to select different settings to suit themselves.
