All instructions are written from the drivers seat position looking forward at the vehicle dash. We advise caution whenever your
removing or handling plastic parts of a vehicles dash.
Step. 1
Start by applying the parking brake and placing the transmission into the neutral position.
- For automatic transmissions, grasp the plastic cover below the shift knob and push down until loose from the shift knob.
Remove the retaining clip with fingers or Dash Trim Tool and remove shift knob. Open the cup holder lid and use the Dash Trim Tool to remove the shifter bezel in front of it. Note: See inset in top picture for guidance. There are four clips that hold the shifter bezel in place. Set bezel aside with care.
- For manual Tranmissions, Open the cup holder lid and use the Dash Trim Tool to release four clips from the shifter bezel. Pull bezel back far enough to locate and remove the two phillips screws just under the cubby in the radio/climate control bezel.
Step. 2
Carefully use the Dash Trim tool and pry along the edges of the shifter bezel until all clips are released. Pull bezel out very carefully as there is a fragile cable that connects to the radio. Note: Do not disconnect this wire. Carefully let bezel rest on the left side of radio cavity.
Step. 3
Remove the Phillips screw that is located to the right of the CD player. Place the Custom Bezel Mount over the guiding pin and existing screw hole. Note: See inset in middle picture. Tighten down the Custom Bezel Mount making sure the mount is tight with the right side of the cavity
Carefully reinstall the dash in reverse order securing all clips and screws making sure that all bezel’s are tightly connected. Install any Bracketron phone holder or Amps compatible device to your Custom Bezel Mount. Your installation is complete.
