Your new liner is custom molded to fit your vehicle. Upon removal from the box your liner will not completely unroll and lay flat. This is normal and only temporary. Just place the liner on the floor or in the back of your vehicle with a weight in each corner (a book works well). After about 15 minutes, your liner will remain flat. In colder climates this “relaxing” may take longer; moving the liner inside will speed up the process. Your liner is manufactured using an engineering resin that is lightweight and extremely tough and durable. The easiest way to clean your liner is with a damp cloth or sponge. If using a cleaner, 409о or Glass Plusо work well. Use of Armor Allо, Son-of-a-Gunо or similar items is discouraged as these products make the liner slick.
To access the six cargo tie-down hooks located in your pathfinder with your liner in place, simply trim away the material from areas located above the cargo tie-down hooks. These six areas (shown here circled) are lowered in the part to aid in identification.
Pathfinder se and se sport models equipped with the “easy clean” cargo floor do not have carpeting in the cargo area. To aid in securing the cargo liner in place in these vehicles, we have included velcroо discs to anchor the liner. To utilize the velcroо discs, first let your cargo liner “relax” until it lays flat. Then, install one “half” of the velcro (hook or loop disc) to the cargo floor, ideally spacing it evenly front/back/side/side and between the raised skid bars. Let the velcro disc set for a couple of hours to allow the glue to “set” before continuing. You can safely remove the discs at a tlter date if needed. Once the discs have “set-up”, apply the opposing velcroо hook/loop disc to the four already positioned discs with backing still in place. Next, position liner in vehicle and, working at each disc location individually, pull back the liner and remove backing from velcroо disc. Secure to liner by firmly pressing in place. Once this is completed in all four locations, allow the liner to set overnight before loading.
