Install an aftermarket cd player into 2002 chevrolet cavalier

Do i have to completely take off the dash? or can i just switch the radio for the cd player via an easier way? I also have a subwoofer that i want to hook up but have no idea whatsoever how to do that.. i have the amp and all the wiring for it though.
